Buon Ma Thuot is a city in Dak Lak province, Vietnam. This is the largest city in the Central Highlands and the mountainous city with the largest population in Vietnam. Buon Ma Thuot is located in the central area of the Central Highlands. The area of the city is about 377 km². The population of the whole city is 502,170 people, ethnic minorities account for about 15%. Especially, there are 7 inner-city villages with nearly ten thousand Ede people, they still keep the architecture of houses and production lines right in the heart of the city. Buon Ma Thuot becomes the most dynamic and fastest growing city in the Central Highlands.
